VdFS

As the Austrian Collecting society of audiovisual authors, VdFS is delighted to support the Linz International Short Film Festival once again in 2026. Alongside its core responsibilities – representing the rights of direction, camera, film editing, stage design, costume design, acting and voice – VdFS has always been deeply committed to supporting Austria’s film and festival scene. The Linz ISFF offers young and emerging filmmakers in particular a platform for their original short film productions and opens up a diverse range of cinematic perspectives from around the world to the audience. Supporting young filmmakers is also particularly important to the VdFS. We are therefore all the more pleased to once again sponsor the awards in the categories Best Fiction and Best Documentary this year, thereby honoring outstanding cinematic achievements. We are proud to support the Linz ISFF: the festival makes a valuable contribution to promoting film as an art form and fostering cultural diversity, creates opportunities for international exchange, and enriches the cultural landscape of Linz. We would like to thank the Linz ISFF and its entire team for our excellent and long-standing collaboration and wish all filmmakers and festival visitors a wonderful festival experience. Our warmest congratulations to all the award winners!
