MASTERCLASS DEVELOPMENT: AN UNPREDICTABLE JOURNEY How to arrive safe at the right moment, with healthy goods with Isabelle Fauvel (Silence & Conversation) Isabelle Fauvel is an internationally renowned film development consultant and founder of Silence & Conversation. After working as a film producer, she established Initiative Film in 1993, a pioneering company dedicated to film development. With over 30 years of experience, she has supported filmmakers, screenwriters and producers worldwide through script consultancy, story editing, talent scouting and international training programmes. In this masterclass, Isabelle will explore the unpredictable journey of film development and the challenges of bringing a project from its initial idea towards production. She will discuss how filmmakers can navigate the development process while preserving their creative vision, as well as when and how to involve a co-writer, script consultant or story editor to strengthen their projects. Through practical insights and examples, participants will gain a deeper understanding of development as an evolving process of creative decision-making, collaboration and finding the right path for each project.
